DOUBLE PREDESTINATION

Did God creates some people whose purpose in existence is to be sent to hell?

Predestination – decide or ordain ahead of time what destiny you will have.

God had decreed before the fall of Adam of the consequence of sin.

  • Gen 2:1617 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
  • 1 John 3:4 …sin is the transgression of the law.
  • Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

God has foreordained that ALL not just some individuals to damnation because all sinned.

  • Ro 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
  • Ro 3:23  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
  • Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death,

The question of did God predestined some to damnation is fundamentally flawed.

But God did predestined some to salvation:

  •  Eph 5 :3-5  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

ARE WE SAYING THEN THAT GOD IS UNFAIR?

  • Exodus 33:19 Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
  • Romans 9:14-16 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.
  • Romans 9:20-21 20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
  • Isaiah 45 : 9 “Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?
