Seeing is more than just the perception of light reflections. The images that registered in our mind at a moment is woven to the fabric of our entire past experience. It has the power to stir up the emotions long hidden in our inner most being that causes us to react in fear, joy, excitement, anger and a lot of times, boredom. A stroke of a pen can on the other hand leads us to see more than what meets the eyes. The words we read quickly morph into an image floating in the midst of our own experience.
